Hitting your bank account with unauthorized charges

BidFuel.com charged my bank account with unauthorized charges in excess of $ 40.00. They claim that somebody signed for their service but only my wife and I live here and nobody here signed for their service. They claim the money is non-refundable but I am filing paperwork with my bank and the police department and prosecutors office and I hope to get my money back.

How can a company get away with this, is it because they are affiliated with e-bay? I will never use e-bay again as long as I live. I am writing this from Michigan, where companies close or leave on a daily basis and most people are looking and hoping for a job, and this $ 40.00 plus is food and housing money to us, so we don't sign for anything that costs money, online or any other way.
I hope the people at e-bay and BidFuel choke on their dinner tonight, it would be justice because thanks to them, we won't be having dinner tonight and I pray that I can get the money back into my bank account before our house payment hits the account...
