Took a "renewal fee" out of my credit card FIVE years after I last ended my relationship with the compnay Online nationawide

Internet & Web

I received my credit card bill and as saw this "NORTON ANNUAL RENEWAL".
I understand that if you order a product thru the internet you often are agreeing to things you would never think of.

However, It was five years ago when I ordered a product and then canceled the order.

I would never expect a charge five years later to appear.

Now here is the kicker, I call the number listed, right, and I am hold for over 22 minutes, line picks up after the most unpleasant 1950 style elevator music you have ever been subjected to and the individual proceeds to jumble with there headset for maybe another minute or two and then of course hangs up.

So naturally I call right back, as it stands I am typing this dissertation as I wait for this company to decide to A. Answer the phone B. Hire more people to answer the number associated with this foolishness. (by the way the recording answering the 800 refers directly to the charge)
Okay so a Rep answers (after 21 minutes) and proceeds tells me one of my family must have ordered this product. All the while I am looking at my control panel add remove programs, to be sure my self that this product is not on my computer as the last time I dealt with this company I had an entirely different computer. Well right as rain there is no Norton to be found anywhere in the computer.
As I am typing I am waiting again for a Supervisor due to the Rep insisting the company now needs my address, telephone number and email.

Someone please explain why I would trust this company with any information???
Okay so its been over thirty minutes and I have logged on to my credit card online and disputed the charge.

I just have to say I would have to be out my mind to ever do busines with company... Ever!!!
