Documagixj2global Communications ripoff. Misleading information in a product upgrade

This company evidently acquired the proprietary software, Papermaster 98, from Documagix (since defunct) and began notifying users of an upgrade, "Papermaster 2002", that would be pre-released in November. They claimed it was intended for use with Win ME, and XP, there, purportedly, being some incompatibilities with these operating systems.

Having used Papermaster with Win ME, I had not encountered any problems whatsoever. Like a fool, I bought the pre-release version. What I discovered in Papermaster 2002 was... Papermaster 98!! -with the J2 Fax communications software attached, so you'd use their faxing service.

There was nothing new in the operation of the software on a windows ME platform. Furthermore, they modified it so that it would only allow 1 installation. The fact that they marketed it as an improvement for users of Win ME was deceptive/fraudulent, in my opinion.
