Young Farther 21 loses to Kijiji Ebay SCAM $5000 LOST HELP

Hi there,

I am a young father at the age of 21 trying to start a life for my family, Until Kijiji.ca, ebay, canadian post and money gram destroyed it.

I am living in my inlaws basement with my wife and daughter, its not a big basement, and its not a finished basement. I thought i should take a chance, i decided to take a $5000 loan and buy a truck and start a buisness.
So i searched for a truck eveywhere untill i found the perfect one, it was on a web site kijiji.

I contacted the buyer about this truck and she said she will sell me this truck for $5000 firm. So i said yes to this.

The next day she sent me an email saying that we would go through Ebays protection policy, she said this was the safest way, i agreed to do this after hearing good things about ebay. I then recived 3 emails from ebay, one showing me how i was protected, the second was a invoice showing me that there would be an employer of Ebay who will hold the money untill i receive the truck and am happy with this, and the third a tracking number that would appear once i have payed the money, and telling me how to pay the money.

So it explained that all i would have to do is go to to the Canadian post and do a money gram transfer. I asked how safe this was to use and they said it was great. They explained that the person receiving this money gram would have to show at least 2 piecies of I.D.

So i did all this and sent my money away and then i got an email, from the seller saying that they needed another $2000 for insurance purposes.

At this point i became a little suspicious, and decided to try and contact someone about this, i looked for a phone number to call Kijiji and i looked for a phone number for ebay, neither of these large companies have them listed on there websites, so i sent an urgent email to both of them.

I then raced to the police for some help but they said they couldn't help me. I then went to the post office and tried to cancel the money gram but they said they cant it was too late by only a few hours.

So i went back home waiting for a reply from either Ebay or Kijiji. It took 2 days for either of them to reply and all they said is that it was my fault. I have been persistant with this and been back to the police about this but there is not much they can do.

So i ask you this, since no one cares, why dont we all start doing this, is it because we have a conscious? Or is it because we are scared? Well if it is that you are scared of getting caught dont be, because NO ONE cares about the hard working low income earning young family man.
