Bargin Network - BNI
Says membership info could not be found at this time, try to cancel in 1 month

Internet & Web

I heard a commercial for BNI on XM Radio advertising a listing for houses repoed for tax liens. I decided to try them out. I got online and did the trial membership, thinking I could cancel if I was not pleased with the service.

Once I joined, I found out that they do not have any tax lien listings for any state in the US, all they have are forclosures, preforclosures, FSBO and For Sale By Agent. As you may know, there are several ways to get this information pretty easily and for for.

I called and wanted to cancel my 7 day trial membership. I was asked why, and I informed them of the reason. They said they were sorry I was not pleased with the service. I then went through 45 minutes of telling them all my information several times (phone number, address, zip code, name). After all of this, they told me my information was not yet available, and to try back after I have had their service for a minimum of 30 days, to ensure my info was in their system.

So, now they are trying to tell me I will have to pay for the trial membership, the first months membership and possibly the second months membership before I am eligiable to canel my account. Buyers beware!!!
