Double billing, poor customer service

On January 5th, my wife placed an order for Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2007 using my debit card. On the 6th I was debited $89.48 for the software.

On January 8th, I noticed a charge for the same amount of $89.48 debited from my checking account by JEM Academic. I called my bank to inquire about the charge. My bank told me that both JEM Academic and Journey Ed had the same phone number.

I called Journey Ed on January 8th to inquire about the double charge. At that time, I was told that I would be refunded within 24-36 hours. When I was not refunded within 36 hours, I started calling to get answers.

Numerous phone calls inquiring about the double billing were placed to Journey Education, including four voicemail messages left to Angela Cruz, Customer Service Supervisor, at extension 115. To date, there has been no effort on their part to respond.

* On 01/08, Journey Ed staff told me a refund would take place within 24 hours.

* On 01/09, no refund was deposited. I was then told a refund would take place within 24-36 hours.

* On 01/12, no refund was deposited and I left a voicemail for Ms. Cruz to call me. No response from Ms. Cruz on 01/12.

* On 01/13, I left another voicemail for Ms. Cruz to call me regarding the refund. No response from Ms. Cruz on 01/13.

* On 01/14, another voicemail was left with Ms. Cruz demanding that she call me. No response from Ms. Cruz on 01/14.

* On 01/15, On 01/14, another voicemail was left with Ms. Cruz demanding that she call me and that my next step would be contacting the CEO of the company, Mr. Mike Fishler. No response from Ms. Cruz on 01/15.

* On 01/16, I called and left a voicemail for Mike Fishler, Journey Ed CEO.

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH JOURNEY EDUCATION. It's very obvious they have no care or concern for their customers. As long as they get their money, they're happy!
