Curesoft Unauthorized Pop-ups - Cannot completely uninstall the software - Annoying garbage Internet

After installing it caused and still causes numerous pop-ups to appear. I have tried uninstalling but the pop-ups still occur. Also, still get pop-ups trying to get me to install and pay for this garbage again and again. I believe it must have caused a virus to invade my computer instead of doing the opposite. Will this nonsense ever end! I had paid by a debit/Visa card so had my bank returned the funds to my account immediately. Fortunately no problem with that. However, the computer problems seem to never end. I am at my wits end as to how to keep the pop-ups at bay! I just wonder if there was ever any things on my computer before this that they tried to say needed off? Now, obviously there is.
