Where do I start? The "tech support" (if thats what you want to call him) guy was rude. Another didn't seem to know much more than I did. He was just a young guy. I even had to correct his bad grammar because it was annoying! Then, I had all these unauthorized charges going on my credit card. I was told by some very rude girl that they couldnt be taken off and that I'd just been billed 4mths in advance, and for a faulty device that I had to get replaced. Ok... I DID not ask to be billed 4mths in advance! Oh and the ridiculous girl also said if I disputed the charges with my c. Card company, my service would be canceled. I asked, "What makes you think they can do that?" Her reply was "Well, we can't give you service that you haven't paid for." I then reminded the ignorant girl that Skyway bills IN ADVANCE, and in my case, I'd been billed 4mths in advance. Needless to say, she was a joke. I called again the next day and spoke with another girl. After probably an hour on the phone, she finally gave me a $25 credit and blamed all the charges on a "new" billing system. However, I read a complaint from a guy in the previous year who had the same issues. Hmm, guess they got a new billing system that year too. OH and as far as the quality of the service... Well... Don't expect much more than dial-up because that's what you'll get. You'll waste a lot of your time trying to get it to connect. You'll have to unplug the modem 1 or more times, and you can expect it to freeze up and disconnect on a regular basis. I called to cancel this month because my 1yr is FINALLY up. I got transferred to someone else and got her voice mail, left a msg, but she hasnt bothered calling back. I'm going to call again tomorrow and YEA, Im going to be a b*tch because there is no excuse for such incompetence. It makes me so mad hearing about people who got charged 100's for cancelling something they couldnt even use. If you order after reading this... YOU deserve whatever you get.
