Rip-off Does not provide software in sealed box no manual no serial numbe

I was contacted by MyPoints.com to by Norton System Works 2003 Professional for $39.95 ($48.00 with tax and shipping) from Perfect Collectibles.com. A picture of the product is shown and one is led to assume they will be getting a full boxed and sealed product with manual, serial number, etc.

When the product arrived I only received a single CD in an envelope. I tried to contact them but only got a web site with no telephone number. I sent them an e-mail with no response to date. I then called SoftwareSavingsPlus.com because they included a "free VIP membership" in this "club" with my order. It seems they are the company actually shipping the product.

I was told by Joyce that I "didn't need a manual as everything was on the disk I received". When I continued to complain and doubted the legality of the transaction I was given a credit for my order and asked to send the disk back. No explanation was given as to why I only received just a CD.

I think this is Pirated Software at the most and deceptive advertising at least. I have sent a similar report to Symantec, Business Software Alliance, etc.

I later found out that this price is no discount - one can purchase the same software for $1.01 less from Amazon.com - and it obviously comes in a sealed box with manual and is a legal licensed copy.
