Unauthorized phone bill ripoff charges

02/02 bill from Verizon showed unauthorized charge for "Liberty Online Svcs" for $29.95, $. 90 federal tax, and $1.80 NJ sales tax. We do not know what we ordered, or how we would access it.

I called the office and went right to the top - I left a voice mail with the chairman/CEO, Michael Lewis. I briefly explained that his company seemed to be taking advantage of quite a few people, based on what I had read on complaint and other websites, and asked that the charges on my phone bill be removed. I reminded him that I would go to the state Public Utilities Commission and the State Attorney General's office if this was not resolved to my satisfaction.

We are awaiting a response from Mr. Lewis. If we do not get one in a timely manner, I will inform the state Public Utilities Commission, and the state Attorney General's office, as I noted in my phone call.
