Product dies 1 month after warranty expires

Bought HP 9500 back on 10/03/07. Power supply went on 11/04/08. Less than one month after warranty expired. HP India of course states company line of product out of warranty, have to charge you just to listen little alone fix. I had heard HP products were questionable when it came to reliability, but wanted to believe the best. I got the worst. Their customer service is based out of India, they don't understand anything you say, just spew the company line and transfer you from department to department hoping you will get discouraged and drop off. Stay away from this company. Buy a Dell, don't buy a Compaq as they are part of HP and you get the exact same product and treatment. I will have to get this fixed, but won't do it through HP, they are a joke.
