Company Tried to Rip Me Off But I Walked Away Raleigh, NC

This company should be avoided at all cost. They operate like a used car dealership. First, they lead you to believe that you can easily determine how much a website will cost by showing you different packages. But you really have to be a programmer to know exactly what you will get and what add-ons you might need. As a result, there is no way you will end up paying the price you anticipated. They will string you along as they did me.

When you ask them what sites you can see to get an idea what you will be getting they direct you to their portfolio. The problem is that no prices are attched to each example page, making it impossible to determine what your site will cost. After requesing they post prices for each portfolio site, they refused and keep runing around the issue because they don't want you to know how much an actual site will cost. They want you to make that 50% initial payment them string you along so you are financially committed.By the time you are finished with your site it's going to cost a lot more.

In addition, I was told they cannot list prices for portfolio sites because many of the sites were the work of other companies as well as theirs. When I asked them how these sites can be in their portfolio if they did not creat them in full, they danced around the issue again in double-talk, similar to a used car salesman.

Having portoflios and leading customers to believe they can make similar sites for you is deceptive and illegal. But once you see these sites you will be hooked and signup, only to find later that they are not able to desigh these sites. When I told them I wanted a site just like one in the portfolio, they told me "Well we want to know what you need in your site." I told them I needed all that this one portfolio site had. They responded "We dont work that way. We want to kow what you need." I responded once again, "I need what this site has and I'd like to know how much it will cost." They kept going over and over refusing to give me a price." They work to hook you in and add additional charges and they can't even design many of the sites they list.

Finally, I have been assured on many different ocassion (speaking to different sales reps) that the sites are only designed in America. They assured me all of their designers are in teh Raliegh headquarters. But then I was told (after asking) that they are designed in India.

This company is essentially a sales company that contracts sites to India. Why pay some sales company high prices - prices that are much higher than you were led to believe and only to realize after paying a huge amount that they don't even have the capability to deliver to you a site that you wanted from their portfolio list???

I have dealt with this company on many occassions and have always gotten this decept. Stay away at all costs. They will rip you off.
