Wizards for authors by my byline media

Internet & Web

In July of this year I went on-line to find a software package designed for writers, that would help me to format, pagenate and prepare my works for publishing. I found a product called WIZARDS FOR AUTHORS. I watched their on-line visual demonstration of the product and it looked great. So I ordered it. The cost was $121.00 with tax. When I got it, I literally spent hours on the computer trying to understand how to use the software. I am computer literate, I am a smart guy, but after about 2-3 hours of dedicated time, I could not get this software to do anything that it said it could do in terms of setting up a document that I could load my books into. It was unbelievable how complicated it was. WIZARDS FOR AUTHORS is actually built on Microsoft WORD. It should be a piece of cake to use. I just went around the bend. My wife also tried it and couldn't figure it out. After about 3 hours, I sent an email to the company at the email address they give and asked for what is called an RMA number as you have to get this number from them before you can request a refund. If you don't have that number, your refund won't be granted. Of course, I never got an answer to my email and that's been about 2 weeks or more now. It was a waste of $121.00 and though I will probably call them this week, I wanted to warn others about the product. It looks great on the demo-site, but when you try to use it, it's quite another thing.
