Ran off w/my system, repaired cheap, sold, or used parts!

I was also ripped off by Pete Loscalzo, Mr. Elite Computer repair. I decided to go with him because he had such good reviews! Now I'm thinking maybe they were his own reviews!

I allowed him to come pick up my system and after finally hearing back from him, the diagnosis really didn't sound right, so I told him never mind, I could just take out my hard drive and use it as a secondary. After not hearing from him, I attempted to go to the address on the website but it was apartments and the website had no apartment # and the office was closed.

I called his cell several times from a store down the street before heading back in and no answer. He finally responded to one of my emails and said he would ship the system and send me the tracking #, on two different occasions. Still nothing. So, after filing a report to the BBB, that's how I actually got an apartment # and they were not able to help since he didn't respond to them either.

The end of my case, came to this... HE NO LONGER LIVES AT THAT ADDRESS! Unless he has good timing and is in real good with the office staff telling them to tell people he no longer lives there, then I'm guessing the heat was on and he burned rubber.

I feel like a fool, and angry to have something of mine taken, but hopefully people will be able to see these reports and be more careful.
