Warning! They charged Visa. Didn't finish website. Give runaround for 3 months!

I contracted with HWS in late May to build my website. I provided artwork and copy. They began charging my personal Visa without my knowledge, which was used to initially hold the contract according to the salesman. I have been charged $1,419.95 to my Visa to date, most of it several months ago. Recently I was charged another monthly hosting bill though I don't have a website! It is now September and I still don't have a new launched website, though I provided most of the material in advance.

Their staff constantly dropped the ball on promises, such as simply obtaining our original files, creating the web pages, updating the pages. I kept getting new contact names as my account and project was passed from person to person to another constantly, with no results.in the middle of creating the original web pages, design technician Sunnye Wesson, simply stopped and told me to contact the Updates department to finish. There was little response and I was always still passed onto somebody else.

This week, September 3, after some agressive phonework, I finally reached the 'Priority Accounts' manager, 'Joe', by phone who promised results.By the end of this week, only a couple of pages and short modifications were completed, despite steady stream of emails and phone calls. Only one email was answered by the technician Matt Thornton ("I'll get to it today"). He didn't.

I have received constant runaround and no results after they've taken my money months ago! My company does not have a good website presently to work with and we have lost sales opportunities, marketing opportunities, and personal income. We have invested over $2000 in this project so far. This has financially hurt my company, my career, and my family.

Needless to say, I am frustrated and angry. I want to talk to their President, CEO, or other office, but they refused to give me the names, not would any of them call me.

I have worked for a Utah company in Orem and came to expect more of the people there. I'm sure this is not something they wish to have on their record. Actions speak louder than words.
