Illegal trade practice - Ultimhosts rippoff Go Daddy customers

I switched hosting providers and the company charged me $1349 after I switched. The new hosting company is Go Daddy Inc. The subject company Ultimate Hosts charged my credit card two weeks after I cancelled and notified them I switched to another hosting company. They charged my Visa credit card without my authorization. My account with the subject company ended Friday Aug 1st 2008. I notified the company a second time Sunday Aug 3rd that we no longer require their services and they have refused to reverse the unauthorized charges, said they never received cancellation before the contract renewal date. They proceeded with charges because we switched to another company for services. The business practice in which they charge you for future services that you refuse and do so because of the competition in trade with their number one competitor Go Daddy Inc.By forcing you to pay for their future services when written and verbal intent is to use a competitors services is illegal, consumer protection and antitrade laws prevent the fraudulent business practice of subject company. If the subject company goes unchecked many more consumers will fall victim to their practices.
