We Contacted Maisha Pierce Byrd on Guru.com as she had experience supposedly in writing a custom application for a program we needed. She seemed qualified as she had done some work before for other clients there and had some feedback @ that time. Her website http://www.designplusprogramming.net/Contact. Aspx
Listed contact info and we talked.

It was pretty straight forward, grab customer info and such from an order from that comes in an email and then pre populate dhl usps etc. Payment was agreed to be in installments with designplusprogramming.
Design plus Programming LLC specifically Maisha Pierce-Byrd was subcontracted to complete a shipping integration program which would allow our staff to automate creation of labels to fulfill orders more efficiently. Defendant has given multiple excuses as to why the project was not done from hospital, picking up sisters kids, storm knocked out all internet communications.

We have never received a product, and we have requested multiple times for updates. Project should have been completed months ago.
Guru.com has also tried to contact her with no luck and have subsequently frozen her account.
We have hired another individual to do this project due to lack of communication and lack or product.
BBB Complaint filed as well.

Word to the wise Stay away from this company As Guru.com has informed me"Good afternoon. Unfortunately, Maisha never delivered on her promises to you or other employers. Consequently, her Guru.com account has been closed since last August. I reviewed all of the correspondence we had with her about your case last year. Ultimately, all of the messages resulted in excuses and broken promises." Quote from email

I am not sure if this has anything to do with business practices as we are in the process of investigating it.
