Ripping me off every month

I paid 19.97 to join a site that i thought would help get me money. As the time went on I realized it was not going to work. PROBLEM the company keeps taking 19.95 per month out of my checking acct. I asked my bank to stop payments but they told me because it is my debit card they can not stop it. I know I sent a request to get of the program and they responded but the e-mail has been deleted. I tried calling the phone number and it is disconnected. Pleas help
