Charged my Credit Card for something that I didn't order. Won't let me return it or give me my money back

Internet & Web

I have the same problem as Bluerondo. I also requested the IP address of the computer that it was ordered from when the order was placed. The only way that I think that they could have gotten my full information is through the Opt out plan. Either that or the company uses Data mining of some sort.

I never signed up for any trial of this product and I never intended to order this product. The credit card information was mine; however, the email address that the person used to sign up was not mine. There is a great deal of credit card fraud, so it isn't surprising that someone could have gotten our credit card information. They may have been testing it. I have no idea. I do know that neither my husband nor I ordered this product.

I the boxes aside, thinking that they were junk mail. It wasn't until my husband asked me about it that I took a closer look and my credit card and realized that they had charged me for the product.

I looked on the website and the website says that I can return the unused, boxed CDs and that I just need an RMA number. I emailed asking for it. They let me return one box. However, they wouldn't let me return the other three for $80 each. I would like to return 3 unopened, unused boxed CDs that I didn't ask for and don't want... I don't know how that they got my credit card information,

Package ID: 10596773: Letters and Numbers 1
Package ID: 10656639: Consonant Sounds 1, Consonant Sounds 2, Consonant Sounds 3
Package ID: 10634501: Vowel Sounds 1, Vowel Sounds 2, Vowel Sounds 3

The items were shipped to my husband. The credit card number was mine.

Their website as of 3/31 states that I can return shipments anytime, that I just need an RMA number. So, I would like the RMA number to return the additional CDs. They asked me to send certified mail to the legal department and then they would send a refund. This is how I got Aaron Bailey's name. He says he is a lawyer and that he is head of customer service. I now know that he is extension 20. I never heard... So I emailed again and they said there would be not money coming back to me. We have gone back and forth. I contacted the FTC, BBB and legistlators in Colorado. FTC won't do individuals, BBB left as unresolved, legislators are busy getting ready for elections.

I did threaten legal action in order to get them to respond to me. Which they finally did.

Honestly, I think it is a horrible business practice. I would hope that they would return money that was not theirs to take.

I will write to every state representative, to my Governor and their Governor, to every education association that I am a member and to whomever else that I need to in order to get the $240 dollars back. $240 is not a small amount of money to me. I want the money back for this product that I didn't order, that I didn't intend to buy and don't want.

I am looking for the RMA to return these products and get my money back...

Package ID: 10596773: Letters and Numbers 1
Package ID: 10656639: Consonant Sounds 1, Consonant Sounds 2, Consonant Sounds 3
Package ID: 10634501: Vowel Sounds 1, Vowel Sounds 2, Vowel Sounds 3

Aaron Bailey says that we have the correct information including number on the back. He says that he has no way to prove that I didn't open or copy the CDs. I asked him if I could give him a copy of the contents of my computer from Belarc advisor. Legit companies like Roxio let you just send an email saying that you didn't use it or that you removed it from your computer.

My next step is to post the information on Blogs. I am sure at this point that the company is mad at me. However, I am mad at them as well.

They owe me $274.00.

Their response: Your account is not eligible for any further credit. If you have any other concerns please feel free to contact us again.
