Mail.com service stinks high bills

I realize this is s free mail service, but given the number of pop-up advertisers they offer, you would think they would have some degree of customer service.
I've been filing reports since January 1 I always get a nice email reply within a day or so with a 'tracking' number... Then I never hear from them again.
The problem still exists -half the time you can't send or receive message. This service stinks to the high bills.
