Charged me twice in my bank account

Internet & Web

I received my bank statement today, and found that I was lacking a little. I thought I had more money, and my balance seemed off. So I scanned the detailed deductions.

When I glanced at the last payment made, to a company called "Ap9, " it was for a family safety report. I'm a college student! Why would I buy that? The only other purchase that day, and the only one I remembered making by card, was a gas fill up. I did not authorize that payment of $19.95. Then I noticed another charge by the same company for the same price made 15 days beforehand.

I was furious. I did NOT authorize these payments. I had been taken advantage of by a company I'd never even heard of! When I searched the name and site on the net, several other reports came up complaining of the charges this company had made to their accounts. Some were even for $19.95, as mine was.

At this point I knew it wasn't my brain forgetting things. I'd suspected, but now I knew. I found this website, and plan on visiting my bank ASAP (as the payments were made within the 60 day margin) to clear the matter. Hopefully they will understand, as I have printed proof that this company is a gyp and that others have been ripped off by them.

Check your account details, folks, and don't be afraid to investigate!!!
