I was charged for the item before I even received it. I contacted the live chat and they denied that I was charged. 2 days later the charge was removed. I returned the thing and confirmed with usps that it was received today, 4 days before the 30th day. I checked my account today and I have also been charged! Long story short, I am pasting a copy of the live chat.

Me: I returned the magic jack within the 30 day time frame and there is a $46.90 charge pending on my card. I have confirmed with the post office that the item was received today. I also have 3 days left.

Me: When I first ordered this product your company had charges pending as soon as I ordered which caused me to incur charges.

Me: No I haven't received the email, however that should not matter as my 30 days are not up.

Me: Why did I get charged prior to the 30th day?

Rep: If our customer pay with a Debit Card, we automatically get the money since we can't put a hold status for such transactions. But, even if we got you billed we will still keep that bill as hold/pending on our end. If you will decide not to continue with magicJack and you're still under the 30 day trial period, then we will give back the charge as "refund".

Me: i will be contacting the better business bureau as you still have not addressed that the charges pending are prior to the 3oth day as stated.

As I stupidly waited on more info, I became aware that I was wasting my time and ended the pointless chat. I just wanted to rant and share this horrible experience.

As for the device itself it worked but I was not overly impressed with it's quality and after reading other reports, I am glad I returned it.
