Disclosed Personal Information! Charged Fee!

Protect America sent us the wrong product. When we called to get help we were laughed at, literally laughed at. When we spoke to someone the next day they ALSO laughed at us. We canceled the service that day.

They charged us an $80 fee for canceling even though we were told that it would not be charged if it was returned in 2 days unopened, which we complied with.

I requested a copy of the contract and was sent one in the mail in an OPEN manila envelope. The first page had our names, address, SOCIAL SECURITY numbers, and our credit card numbers! This is an awful thing to send through the mail first of all but, even more troubling is the fact that this information is stored there for employees of this company to see. They are breaking PCI compliance laws that prohibit the company from keeping social security numbers and credit card information except for the last four numbers. Please don't go through the same insanity we did. Don't fall for this fraud!
