Did a 3 day trail for $2.99 canceled on the 3rd day, now they charged my credit card $38.83 a month later Canada

I paid $2.99 for a three day trail run on web detective on the last day of the trail i canceled. One month later on my bank statement i was charged $38.83 for something that was surposed to have been canceled. I would like to get the $38.83 back. Didnt have any luck with the web detective anyway.
