E-bay Seller Gr8truth2z
E-bay rippoff

Internet & Web

Before buying a set of cold air intakes for my Mercedes, I asked Gr8truth2z if they would fit my 95 s500. He said simply-yes. I took that to mean that they would, without a hacksaw or hammer.

After receiving them I realized that they would not fit and told him so. He replied by sending me pictures of them installed on a car, but not like my car. I told him I wanted my money back but he kept sending me E-mails telling me how much he wanted to make me happy. Actually he was dragging it out till the 90 day greivance period ran out.

As I am a fairly new Ebay member I didn't know about this, so I kept replying to his E-mails that I just wanted my money back. I am a long distance truck driver so sometimes it would be a week or so till I got back with him. Naturally the 90 days ran out before I knew it-then he quit answering my E-mails.

Now in my mind if this seller really wanted to do the right thing, regardless of any 90 day limit, he would give my money back.
But instead I am out $171.00 which will not make or break me-I just wanted the next buyer to know what he did to me.
