PC Tools Software
Fraudulent, over aggressive, and predatorial Internet

Internet & Web

This company is all over the internet marketing their product aggressively. Once the unsuspecting newbie buys their product they are in trouble. They will automatically renew your subscription after one year and of course we never know this. What happens is that they will keep sending multiple "product promotional" emails over the course of a year and you will end up marking that as "spam". Then they will send you a notification that you will be billed again - but that goes to spam folder as they will conveniently use the same email address! Ok so I was able to catch the email and I went through a complex process to unsubscribe. You have to "login" to their site and then receive an email and follow the link on that and they make you comment about the product also. They intentionally make it difficult to cancel renewal! Will low and behold! My subscription was still renewed even after I went through all their procedures! People have been complaining about a billing company by the name of DRI*ELEMENT5.com suddenly billing for no reason - did you buy something from PC Tools???

So watch out for this super aggressive company. They will trap you!!
