Ripoff internet rebate offer

I signed up for Comcast cable internet service online. I was supposed to get a $125.00 rebate and $79.95 rebate for a cable modem, that I purchased. I sent in the appropriate forms with the appropriate enclosures within the 60 day time frame. The company sent it all back to me, unoppened, stating that the offer had expired. I see that I am not theonly one that this has happened to, but that doesn't make me feel any better about it.
I will purse this matter with Comcast and the BBB, but I don't feel that I will have any success. The stress that this is causing me can never be corrected with money. Thanks for listening.
