XFX Video Card Rebates
Xfx - U.S. XFX video card Rebates

I bought two XFX PVT84JUSD4 GeForce 8600GT graphics cards from newegg.com. I submitted both rebates. Xfx rejected one saying it was a duplicate claim. The rebate form from XFX stated that I am allowed up to two rebates per customer for the same XFX PVT84JUSD4 graphics card since I have SLI on my computer I needed two graphics cards installed. I gave Xfx two different barcodes and receipts from newegg.com where I purchased the cards seperately on different dates. If you purchase two of these cards from xFx and expect two rebates they will not honor their rebates agreement. Here is the email they sent to me " Unfortunately, per the terms and conditions listed on your rebate form there is a limit of 1 per person. Due to this limit, we were only able to process 1 of your submissions." I sent them an email back saying "Dear XFX, I regret to inform you that Unfortunately I will not be buying anymore of your products due to your dishonest rebate offers and false advertisements." This is what the rebate agreement said "

Offer starts 2/1/08 and expires 2/29/08. Offer only applies to XFX Model/s PVT84JUSD4 purchased through Newegg.com.

All requests MUST be postmarked within 30 days after purchase. All rebates paid in US dollars. Photocopies, facsimiles or reproductions of serial number labels will NOT be accepted. Substitutions or rainchecks will not be honored. Limit two rebates per name/individual, household or address.incomplete, illegible, missing or undated submissions will not be processed, honored,
acknowledged or returned. Requests from PO Boxes are not accepted. We are not responsible for claims lost, delayed or misdirected. Customers are advised to retain a copy of their rebate submissions documents for their records. This offer is only valid for US addresses. Requests made from groups or organizations will not be honored. Claim forms postmarked more than 30 days from the date of purchase will not be honored. Rebate checks will be delivered 8 weeks of receipt of a qualifying rebate submission. Rebate information is available up to 3 months after the purchase date. For additional information or status on your rebate please call 1- 877.776.2676, or visit www.rebatestatus.com, Rebate checks will be voided if not cashed within 90 days of
issuance and cannot be reissued. Rebate checks will not be reissued for change of address. Fraudulent submission may result in prosecution in accordance with the law." I think xFx needs to be prosecuted for fraudulent advertisement in accordance with the law.
