World Wide Rebates
Rebates not sent, then they lie, and change their story to discourage you

As with most people, rebates from World Wide Rebates go unfulfilled.

Both myself and a friend purchased a video card from Newegg.com. There was a $60 rebate. We got the cards and both filled out the rebate information... We even paid the $5 "rush" charge.

WWR accepted our rebates and said they issued the check... That was in Sept 08.

Neither of us received our rebates... So we complained.

They said they send both of them... Which never showed up.

So, we started the reissue process, which they said would take 4 -6 weeks to reissue...

Neither of us got a reissued check.

So, many delaying emails back, I get a new tact... They said the original check was cashed 7 days after it was supposedly sent. But they never mentioned that in the multiple emails.

Now, on my last two emails, they've just replied with blank emails, they probably think they're very clever.

This company will lie to you, try to discourage you till you give up. That's how they make their money... Lying and stealing.

I've already emailed Newegg and told them any product that has a rebate with these people will never be purchased by myself or my friend.

If lawyers typically read this site, and you've wondered what company would be good for a class action suit, may I suggest this one? They say they are a subsidiary of Systemax.
