I went on what I thought was a CNN site to cast a vote and it turned out to have an adult site. This site claimed to be free of charge; they only wanted to confirn that I was over 18 and they asked for my debit or credit card no.
Foolishly I gave it to them and they have been steadily charging my account.
It started with $5 and $1 and now has escalated to $38 and $39. I yhave reported this to my bank and they are working on restitution for me.
