Unauthorized credit card charges internet

I was checking my credit card charges and noticed one for $14.95 that I did not recognize. I contacted the CC company, then called the 800 number for Shopping Essentials, was on hold a bit, but spoke to a lady who guaranteed me that a refund will be immediately be issued and no further charges would be made. I guess this outfit is relying on people not checking their bills. She stated the refund will be posted in 2-3 days. My reply was... Fine, because on te fourth day I shall contact the CC company and then the CT Attorney General's office
