Freerecordsregistry was not free. Paid with a credit card for gov-records.com. My parents who were born and died in Tx were nowhere to be found

I was foolish. The freerecordsregistry.com was not free. Told me I had to register and pay via credit card, etc. To go further. I did. This sent me to gov-records.com. My parents were born, raised and died in Texas. I know. I was there. I still have family living there. They were also born there. There were no birth, marriage or death records for them to be found.
