Netshades.com An Infonet Holdings LLC Co. Failure to provide product or refund, failure to respond to e-mails

On Friday, January 11, I purchased two pair of sunglasses from the above company for a total of $114.91. On January 14 I received an e-mail from the company that one of the two pair of sunglasses (Gargoyles Thunder) were damaged and unfortunately their last pair. Being very nice the company offered an alternate pair with an additional 10% discount or if nothing else interested me they would be happy to offer me a refund of the sunglasses. ($28.98)

On Monday, January 21 I sent an e-mail to support@netshades.com requesting a refund for the sunglasses ($28.98)

January 31st I received an e-mail from Renee stating that my request for a refund has been sent to their accounting department to be processed and refunds are sent via Paypal and I will receive a confirmation email once the process is completed. As of today (February 14th) I haven't heard anything since or received a refund.

All said, at least 10 e-mails were sent (with some requesting a telephone number so I could talk with someone) and some via their customer service through their website with only the one response. This company's refund department seems to be having problems as I have seen similar issues from other consumers. Additionally this company has issues with communications unless they are accepting orders and taking peoples money. They don't seem to have any problems with that. I highly do not recommend this company to anyone.
