Writing this report makes me feel rather silly but I did do some looking around into the area of world of warcraft powerleveling and such and I did manage to find that no matter what the circumstances are people are consistanly ripped off and taken advantage of seeing as how the very act itself violates the terms of service (TOS) that blizard has enforced.
Basically I paid purchased a brand new account and searched some "reputable" sites, sites with 24/7 live help, toll free numbers, testimonials, alternative ways of payment etc...
The package i purchased was supposed to take 18 days and about 11 days into the account was suspended for 72 hours etc... Stupid me once the suspension was lifted i talked to someone at the helpdesk and they assured me they took all the necessary steps to ensure it doesnt happen again. Only a few days later i was informed the account was permanatly disabled and such.
On talking to the live-help person whos name was "Mary" (im sure they use female names to try to obtain sympathy) told me that if my package was to be complete that i would need another account and it would be done "free" which is odd becuase i already paid for it. They then informed me that they went through alot of trouble for me already and were bumping my package down to once that costs 100$ less but they still have every intention of keeping my money of course.
All i can say that is ill never do something like this again and im sure that im not the only person that has gone through this but I just felt that something so wrong and fraudulant has to come to terms, that this is such a huge industry that somehting has to be done, a site formed to inform the rest of us about all the horror stories and to hopefully starve out such a corrupt area.
