Unauthorized Charges

I used an on line spy service to locate my father and after making the purchase for $9.95, a pop up came up that said I'd receive a $10 rebate if I clicked on it. I know for a fact that I did not b/c my purchase was not even that much.

Two weeks later I got a charge on my account for $14.95 for a membership fee. When I contacted the company they informed me that I 'had clicked' on the rebate offer and it signed me up. I told the woman that I knew I hadn't and she reversed the charges and canceled my 'membership.' THIS IS TOTALLY A SCAM NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS!

I will be much more careful with my on-line purchases in the future.
