Spoiled a childs Christmas guaranteed Xmas delivery 12-21 The computer dosen't work

Internet & Web

On 12-6 I ordered my son a almost $1,600 computer, they guaranteed Christmas delivery. First off I noticed it took the 5 days to process the order, so I called to check on delivery. No problem we will deliver by Christmas.

12-18 by using their tracking system I notived no movement, again I called and this is when the run around and out and out lies began. First I ttalked with Pauline who informed me "we are so busy and can't get our suppliers to deliver to us". Then was put through to "manager Steve" he continued with the crap and his words were "I will personally see that your computer is delivered by 12-24". He went on to tell me how they stand behind their word.

12-21 still no movement on tracking systen. Again I called, got a busy signal for over 45 minutes, when I finally got through I was put on hold for 1 hour and 22 minutes with a recording saying how busy their customer service people were. (Not suprised I just wonder how many hundreds or thousands they have destroyed Christmas for.) Instead of someone answering I was hung up on. I called back and again got Pauline, she started blabbering and I asked for Steve, he finally called me back at 6;30. His words were we have your computer but it don't work and we don't want to send you something that dosen't work and we are leaving here in about 10 minutes. Well thank you, but what am I suppose to do for a Christmas gift? Steve then replied "I am open for negoations to make you happy", to do this deliver as promised! He still hasn't credited my credit card back and I will have no gift for my son. I feel the hem-hawing was done delibertly as a stall tactic in hopes that I would say I would wait until sometime next year to maybe get a already defective computer. Another thing I have noticed is apparently they only have 2 employees Steve and Pauline. Had they admitted from the start they wouldn't be able to supply by Christamas I could have gone somewhere else, but no they wanted the money. These type of businesses need to be put out of business. I have already filleda complaint with BBB & Consumer Affairs.
