Harmful trojan that unsuspectingly enters/changes compute

Don't know what I downloaded but my computer started flashing a red x at bottom right and page came up that said worm. Win32.netsky had invaded my computer and needed cleaned with the "recommended cleaner": Ultimate Cleaner2007. Whenever tried to change webpage, ultimatecleaner page kept coming up and computer began working very slowly; wouldn't download a new web page. SNEAKY invasion. Fortunately, Spybot (free on the internet) was able to catch it. The problem was zlob. Downloader. Vcd and spybot removed it. When I contacted ultimatecleaner2007 and complained, their email response is: they sell the product through third parties and have no control, ya da ya da. These guys need to have their product yanked. Boycott them and maybe they'll go away.
