A Bad Business Man - Randall Harrison, Computers, Servers, Web Design Atlanta / Decatur / Griffin/Newnan/Americus

We contracted a Ernest Randall Harris of Hotwerks Multimedia to do Web Design, Servers, New Computer and a Live Broadcasting Show. He took the $3,500.00 we gave him, accompanied by his girlfriend and suppossed father. My company took him, his fiance and father to lunch twice at Smokey Bones to discuss and develop the concepts.

In Two Payments he was paid a total of $3,500.00 Cash for services. Contracts and Paperwok as well as reciepts were exchanged. Oddly enough he had heard of my radio personality and knew my brother who is a well known doctor.

He Lured us to a computer store front that was not his, to show us a computer that was his old used unit, according to the shop owner. It had been there for months before we ever met. He then cornered us into installing a T-1 via Megapath as the unit would be ready to install ASAP. We agreed as the location would require a partial T-1 for Broadcasting a Live Show that day.

The T-1 was installed and weeks passed. We got no computer, no website and no servers or an additonal Wii he was to get us. He would call and try to get more money, again getting $50.00 for a new router. We had to hire another contractor to install the final run for the T-1, which he was suppossed to do... So we could finish the job.

Some many weeks later all his address's, he had moved from and phone Numbers had Changed!? We tried to e-mail him and he e-mailed back with a "sorry i lost interest in your project. This was 4 Months into the contract, which was agreed to be no more than 6 weeks tops.

After a few e-mails of being professional and trying to get either, a refund or my work, computers etc, he began to text me with "Black Power". We Began To do more research about this man. We found out all of his business's were not registered with the Georgia Secretary of State.

We began to request our money back, he began to say we owed him money for the T-1 and all the hours he had put into the website?"which we saw not one pixel of" nor had 1 second of uptime on the partial T-1 he was leasing for the show. I began to understand his methods of illegal Busness practices and contacted the Dekalb County police, Fraud Division.

We began to put out ads on Craigs List seeking other victims. We got a response. It Seems Mr. Harrison has been doing this to others. We had Leverage against him nowl. He called and left messages he was working on getting the money, and again diseppeared.

It Took another 2 months of dodgeball with Dekalb before they felt like he was commiting "Theft by Deception" and Were willing to Arrest Him. Out of The blue his Fiance called me, interrupting my dinner. She begged me to give him a second chance, that he would do right and produce what we had contracted on.

I agreed that if he would make right, I would translate this to Dekalb Detectives. I called Dekalb detectives and Told them of his attempt to do right. I also gave Mr. Harrison the name and case number on the case, to prove i was halting charges. He contacted the Detective George there.

Less than two weeks later, he dissappeared again. Phones cancelled and No contact via e-mail. I called Dekalb County Back and they will not do anything now. Despite the fact he has used different names, has taken $3,500.00 from me, has not produced 1 iota of work nor could he prove he even knows how to build a website.

Dekalb States this is a Civil Matter, he is Just a bad business man. We have put leads our once again looking for other victims of this man so we can put him behind bars. We would appreciate any and all help on legal avenues to locate and prosicute this man.
