I purchased Toshiba Qosmio in 2005. Within the first year a new battery had to be replaced. Great I continued to use the laptop—within 9 months the video card functioned at first then alerted the laptop as unfunctional. I took it to an authorized carrier as they replaced all of my information and replaced a hard drive to be more compatible with the hd and video card. The one year warranty ended and 6 months later the fan started to heat up every time it booted up. After cooling the fan down, the second hard drive has now failed. Hence, an orginial $3000 laptop has been worth $100 after the struggle. Toshiba has truly changed.
