Trend Micro Aka PC Cillin non existent support

After having PC Cillin installed on my computer for a while, it seemed to be working. On evening when arriving home from work, I tried to log on to the internet and was sent to an obvious bogus spyware removal page as my home page. I could not change it or get rid of it. I called Trend Micro support and was guided to do a couple things which did nothing to fix the problem. The support agent then emailed me a complex set of directions which I followed completely. That did not fix the problem. At the end of the emial it said if the problem was not fixed to run highjackthis from a site furnished, then send Trend micro support the log file. This request was completed. After the log file was transmitted I received NO RESPONSE even after 4 emails to the agent who was "fixing" my problem. I called again and was told that agent was unavailable and that I would have to email him including the case number. I did this again and still no response (3 weeks since the initial call). I found another company whose support team stayed on the phone with me until the problem was fixed and now their product is installed and working beautifully. No thanks to trend micro. If you are looking for anti-virus with support - don't go to Trend Micro or PC Cillin if you want a resolution to any problems.
