Purchased doll but received doll with legs cut off (misrepresented) Ripoff

I purchased a 20" Georgene Averill/Bonnie Babe from McMasters Harris/MHarrisLive Auctions.com. The only defect noted on the doll's description was a "tiny chip on upper right lid." Mention was made that the "cloth body has been 'slip-covered." I received the doll/doll parts; I would say. Mostly all the paint is gone from the doll's arms or is peeling. The homemade slip cover should have been removed by McMasters Harris and the doll inspected prior to a sale.
MH primary business is selling antique dolls. MH neglected to reveal that this doll's upper cloth/lower composition legs swing type legs had been cut off. Also, that these legs do not even belong to this doll. The cut marks do not line up with the cut marks on the doll's cloth body nor does the muslin cloth on the doll's body match the muslin on the doll's upper cloth legs. None of the above damage was described by this auction company. Any dealer in antique dolls would have removed the doll's clothing and inspected it for damage and noted these numerous damages and lack of a doll without legs before offering it to the public. Now Mark Harris is using the "AS IS" clause to hid behind. This doll/doll parts does not substantially conform to what was expressly offered for sale and the "AS IS" clause is not applicable. I have tried without success to resolve this matter with Mr. Harris of McMasters Harris Auction Co / MHarrisLiveAuctions.com. So buyer beware.
