Internet 3D Chat Company Rips off THOUSANDS of Access Pass Holders

IMVU is a 3D Chat Program that consumers pay for entertainment purposes. An Individual has the option to purchase products that were originally meshed by IMVU, and derive items from these meshes to create a Market of items people BUY to make their Chat program personalized and enjoyable. Deriving products ultimately puts cash into the pockets of IMVU because of derivation charges that are implied at the point of developing.

To accommodate the Adult Population of this program, IMVU created what is called an "Access Pass" By its own Description "you are buying permission to view products in the restricted section of the IMVU catalog" This product costs $20.00.

In July IMVU stated they were removing items that were considered Unsuitable for IMVU. Consumers reported items disabled at this time. Thereafter other items appeared in their Catalog for purchase that were of "Restricted Content" and appropriately marked so. IMVU made no move to remove these items from the catalog so that unsuspecting consumers would not be able to purchase them. These items were considered appropriate by the general population because IMVU did not take the responsibility to make sure their Terms of Service was enforced. Nor did IMVU make any effort to make sure Access Pass Holders knew that there were items left in the catalogs that were deemed unsuitable for their program.

June 1, without prior notification IMVU removed these items from purchased inventories. Disabling things consumers PAID for with real money and offered no compensation for the said products until 5 days later in the form of Promotional credits. Which is what IMVU deems as acceptable currency on their website and have no real value.

This unacceptable form of compensation is the spark of many unhappy customers who want a refund of the real money they spent, and leave IMVU for defrauding them into spending their hard earned money on their Website.
