COX Communications won't stop service of deceased parents

Our parents had their ISP, tv and telephone providers through Cox Communications of Phoenix, Arizona. My dad died June and my mom held all providers energetic. My mom died June. I advised Cox of her moving and canceled web and tv providers without any issue. Whilst the home had a security-system utilizing telephone lines I held the telephone energetic and had the payment used in my handle. Many of these steps were completed within the telephone without any required recognition of me.

In January I informed Cox that people no further required the telephone. I had been informed that I really could not create modifications (including termination of providers) without first displaying a duplicate of the confidence showing I had been the trustee plus a death certificate. I declined their request such data. They've extended to deliver expenses (currently as much as 4 weeks to get a whole of around $87) despite recurring notices the support is ended. I've been hung-up on three times after I insisted to talk to a instead of towards the cause employee in the call-center I had been talking with.

I wrote a notice to corporate and obtained a notice back from somebody identifying himself like a supervisor but without any telephone number; the primary telephone number towards the callcenter. She also mentioned in her notice to me that my rejection to supply a duplicate of my parents death records was "annoying their efforts to assist me".

I've named in and eliminated in person to stop solutions. I've created a-2 page notice to Cox eliminating the support detailing at length the real history of the consideration which it's been ended. I'm today simply returning expenses having a notice showing the consideration continues to be canceled because of my parents fatalities.

Once there's real opposition of services for Highspeed Internet I'll stop Cox as my ISP and television providers. Deregulation of the Wire business is a throw from the customer.
