Took payment but did not send order and cannot reach the company

My order was placed on March 13, and payment taken on the same day, order was supposedly shipped the next day but it has been a month and a half with no results - no email even sent saying that the order was shipped. Several attempts at contacting the company have met with no results - left several messages with no messages or calls returned, and emailed several times with no response even though the site guarantees a response within 48 hrs.

At this time there is no telling what is going on, I can't even get through to a person on the phone. This company is a ripoff.
