Auction Pro Ripoff Scam

Internet & Web

Attended a creating wealth seminar on 3/22- big mistake-to my surprise, it was watching infommercials live with Donald Trump's name associated a backer and believer - I did learn alot of information but you were offered to buy products every hour for thousands of dollars (6000 to 20000)- most products are mentioned on your site. I knew the seminar would offer something to purchase (maybe at the end) but never did I think it would bepresented in this fashion and that is not what you are lead to believe by the invitation.

The products do not cost what they were asking you to purchase them for, they cost a fraction of what they were asking. It was disappointing and sad to watch people try to take advantage of people at their prices (GREEDY). I am surprised D. Trump and his son who was there would associate his name with these people or company.

I purchased Auction Pro software to learn how to create and start an E-BAY business - with a follow up seminar to be held on another day (which they would offer to sell you more software) All the products were like this (must attend follow up seminars on specific dates)-I have to be honest-Not sure who the company is who was presenting and selling the differnt software but NMI was the marketer who ran the whole show. Anyway, had second thoughts on the software since I know it is easy to learn Ebay etc. Guess I got caught up in the presentation (the post office in my town was even offering classes months ago) and asked to return it while at the all day seminar which I did - (They did of course try to convince me not to) however my receipt was really only a RETURN Product verification form which does not say I will be refunded, how much or when. It's just has my name, Nathan Osmond's name (yes he claimes he is Donny's cousin) and confirmation that I returned THE product. I asked while doing this if they can provide me with my check (glad I wrote a check after reading horror stories of them repeatedly charging credit cards) so I could rip it up and they told me the check is no longer on the premises and it just won't be cashed, it will be voided out (Nathan told me this). After reveiwing the return product verification form which basically states nothing I went with my gut and just stopped payment on the 100.00 check. After reading your other complaints I knew calling NMI for a refund would become a nightmare especially since their company name does not appear anywhere on this form or any literature received. I would rather be out 20.00 then 100.00 and avoid all the aggravation of the refund after the check is cashed.By the way, the software listed for 495 (yeah, right) but because I was there in person I received a substantial discount to 100.00 (Wow-wasn't that considerate). That should have been my first big clue especialy since I am an IT person and should have known that it did not cost this much to create and manufacture.
