Amazon
Will not release $ from sales ripoff

Internet & Web

I am so frustrated with Amazon.com. I have bought and sold items via their website for years. However, I recently ran into trouble when I changed the bank account connected to my seller's account. I reversed two digits and my deposit was rejected—a perfectly understandable occurance. However, the money never showed back up in my seller's account, leaving me unable to transfer it again. (I corrected the account number and have successfully transfered $ from subsequent sales.)

I have contacted Amazon.com about 15 times over the last month and receive the same e-mail response every time:

Greetings,

I do understand your frustration regarding this issue and sincerely appreciate your patience while our technicians research this situation further and work toward resolution.

Unfortunately, at this point we are not able to provide an estimated time of resolution for this issue.

Please let us know if this e-mail resolved your question:

This has been going on for well over a month and Amazon.com has $186 of my money that they will not allow me access to. I have called their "Customer Service" number and have been told the issue would be resolved by the end of the day. That was a week ago.

I'm tired of all of the spam that comes with selling items on Ebay, so I'm not sure exactly what I can do now. I refuse to use Amazon until they correct these issues. Basically, when you refuse someone access to money that is rightfully theirs, you have stolen from them. That's what they have done to me.
