Rebate Ripoff Scam

I purchased from CircuitCity a Samsung 15" flatpanel with two manufacturer rebates being offered from Samsung. One for $20 and one for $50. I sent the required information within the alloted time listed on the receipts printed from Circuit City.

Samsung claims that the 8/29/06 postmark date exceeded the required 8/08/06 date. However, the Circuit City receipts listed 8/30/06 as the last valid postmark date.

It is easy to see that the two companies are out of sync here. So far Samsung is tossing the ball back in my court to prove it is not their problem. How am I going to do that?

Hate to say that they did this deliberately but you never know.
