Horrible, rude, unbelievable experience, upsetting, frightening, left me shaken

Because I have cancer and am going through chemotherapy at the present time I decided to do my Christmas shopping on the internet this year.

Shopping for two cameras I checked prices on the internet and found Digital Expo had the lowest price. After entering all my information on the computer they required that I phone the company to confirm the order. I felt this was unusual but did as requested.

The person I spoke with (said his name was Chris) pressured me into purchasing two very expensive batteries because he said the cameras did "not come with batteries". Immediately upon hanging up I spoke with my daughter, who has the same camera, and she said the camera does indeed come with batteries included.

I called the company back within five minutes of placing the order and spoke with "Chris". I told him I wanted to cancel the batteries and just order the two cameras I had originally ordered. I cannot ever describe his rudeness and his telling me it was impossible to cancel the batteries, what was I trying to pull, etc. I asked to speak to his manager. Someone named Ronald Silver came on the line. He said he is the owner of the company.

Mr. Silver was just as rude as Chris and said they would cancel the whole #//# order and to never call them again. It was an unbelievable response!

I waited for about a half and hour and called the company back to confirm that my order had indeed been cancelled. This time I spoke with someone who said he name was "J.J." He said why did I want to know and I said I just wanted a conformation of cancellation number and he said he would not give me a number and said if I asked again he was going to charge a 20% (of the order) charge to my credit card. I said I didn't want any problems but I did want the number and he said "No, Mrs. Liar, I'm not giving you the number". There are no words to describe how rude each person I spoke with was.

It makes me sick to think that I gave my credit card number, address, etc. To such an unscrupulous company. I worked in a prison for 25 years and NEVER encountered anyone as rude as the people at this company. They should not be allowed to stay in business.
