Ripoff

I received this nasty and possibly illegal message from the merchant that I believe to be fraudulent. Their practices are questionable and frankly quite scary and that is why I am forwarding the exact email message I received from Robert Bell - TypeInternational below. After disputing their set up fee charge, they are threatening me and said they reported my credit card info to OVER 20 MILLION MERCHANTS ON THE INTERNET to ban me from future online purchases with all merchants!!! Their message is below the next 3 paragraphs.

I am disputing a charge of $37.95 from this merchant: TYPE INTERNATIONAL which is a service fee to sign up as an Order Processor. I disputed the charge because the web site appears as a legitamite online job offer. Then when you pay the $37.95 for the "setup fee" it says that you need to pay more: HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

The job as "ORDER PROCESSOR" which is what I signed up for, consists of processing online orders that you receive from merchants signed up with Type International. Unfortunately, you never receive these orders and Type Intnl. Stresses that you should pay an additional $5 for an extra listing in their database so that you will receive more orders. I paid for three more listings ($15) but they said that people that receive many orders have 100 OR MORE LISTINGS!!! You see how this is just trying to get you to pay more!

Unfortunately, I don't have the original online information (the account and job details) from Type Intnl. Since they deleted the whole instructions after a few weeks! I just want to say that I felt completely harrassed and threatened and this company and/or individual should be stopped!!!

Liz please remove this Garbage from our web site access. They have attemted a chargeback for $37.95 through Amex and I have contested it by sending copies of the agreement they agree to when payment was made to American Express and they will not be refunded. I have also notified a service to send out the credit info on this garbage to over 20 million merchants so they will never make a purchase online again with a credit card.
