I wish I would have seen this website prior to trying to purchase this product, however, I didn't. But after seeing this website, I decided to immediately contact my bank while in the process of reading up on information about this company. So, my bank hot card my atm/visa check card immediately so no transaction could be placed. I am quite sure, my card or information was not entered incorrectly, as I tried to do it twice. I became suspicious after noticing trying to enter information to research or to confirm my order by entering the year and month purchased. I could not enter year for only went to 2005???

My Complaint to Harris Digital Publishin Inc. After attempting to purchase Net Detective via their on-line support

Approximately 20-20 minutes ago, I decided to purchase Net Detective via on-line. I filled out my information, including my card information. I received no information regarding this order either conformation number or through my e-mail. So, I procede to go back and search for my order by submitting my information to you to search the conformation of my order, and I submitted my information, except at the end, it asked me to submit the year and month purchased, but to my surprise, I could not enter the year I submitted this information. It only goes to the year of 2005. Please contact me as soon as possible as now I am suspecting fraud through this website.

Hello Carrie,

Our records show that your order is incomplete and was not processed. If you see that there are any funds missing from your account, those funds are probably being held by your financial institution as a pending charge. Depending on their policies, they will release those funds back to your account after a predetermined grace period of their choosing (typically 2-5 days). You will need to attempt to purchase Net Detective again. I am greatly sorry for the inconvenience, and please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.

I decided since it did not go through and I did not get a confirmation # immediately after giving my information out to an on-line business, I got suspicious after not hearing from someone immediately, especially after trying to confirm order and noticed that the search that allows you to enter year & month of order placed, I contacted my bank and reported it to them.in that same time I noticed reports on badbusiness.com and seen the many complaints and I feel that it would not be worth the money to get this information. I could get most of this information, from a company my employer uses for my own personal use, for a very low cost and with immediate and accurate information.

I feel since I could not also reach a live voice via phone or even on-line chat to find out what is happening to my order, I feel that this is not a company I would like to use. I like good customer service, which I feel this company does not offer. I would have preferred to be called since you asked for my day & eve. Contact numbers. I do not prefer this way of contact.

But, I do appreciate a response, none the less.

*Note this is just my opinion, read it for what it's worth! I would certainly look into other options: Such as ask your employer, if they do background investigations and who they go through. I just did! And best of all it's not rocket science! And it's live help!
